Autodesk VRED lets different actors and stars of innovation (visualisation experts, engineers, designers) to work together on a photorealistic virtual prototype in 3D. It also makes it possible to consider prototype variants within a specific production process. These are all objectively difficult and costly opportunities if physically realised.

By shifting from physical to digital development processes, the design review phase in virtual reality essentially enables the reduction of critical issues and production errors, limiting the number of physical prototypes and thus ensuring a more sustainable production, in line with energy saving, quality assurance and human resources optimisation requirements.

For the first time, with the creation of virtual models, design and marketing can contribute together to customers’ purchasing decisions, quickly and effectively, showing them opportunities and model variants or other possible alternatives.
